Please welcome Sarah Johnson as executive assistant to the Academic Dean. Sarah will serve in the Academic Dean’s Office to provide administrative support for the academic program of the seminary as a whole, with specific responsibilities related to managing the operations of the Office of Academic Affairs and the Luther Seminary faculty, its divisions, and faculty committees. Sarah comes to Luther Seminary with two decades of executive assistant and event planning experience, project coordination and management, expense reporting, banking, client relations, and training and managing of administrative staff.

Welcome Randy Kyle, Chief Human Resources Officer
Please welcome Randy Kyle today as he joins the Luther Seminary community as chief human resources officer. Randy comes to us from California, where most recently he served as vice president of people and culture for the Oakland Zoo. Prior to that, he served as director of human resources for Gateway Seminary, where he also earned an M.Div. degree. While in California, Randy also served as pastor for a mission church.
Randy looks forward to meeting all seminary employees over the coming weeks. Feel free to introduce yourself. His office is Bockman 109.

Join us for Ministry Matters at 7 p.m. Central December 7!
Ministry Matters Session 3 focuses on the Bible and the LGBTQIA+ community. David Scherer will moderate a discussion with Ashlei Cramer and Aubrey Thonvold of Reconciling Works about how issues within the Bible affect LGBTQIA+ people and the community.
Ministry Matters is a student led six-month series for Christian public leaders to learn about the LGBTQIA+ community, its unique spiritual past, and the amazing opportunities ministry holds for the community. Each session is 90 minutes and will focus on a key topic/issue.
