Spirit Lab is looking to organize a prayer service for the season of Advent, particularly Holden Evening Prayer. If you’d be interested in attending or participating in an afternoon/evening service during this Advent season, please fill out this google form! Additionally, if you’re interested in leading prayer, singing, or playing an instrument, please note that on the form as well!

Worship Lab is an ongoing experiment in student-driven worship planning and leadership supported by Spirit Lab and the office of the Campus Pastor. Joining in a worship lab experiment is a one-time commitment–come to the first planning meeting, a short check-in gathering, then help lead chapel on the assigned day. Spiritual discernment, scriptural study, and creativity are all in play here, and the best results come when a diversity of voices show up!

Here are the details for the next Worship Lab experiment.
Planning meeting 1: Friday, Nov. 16, 1:30-4:30, OCC 215
Planning check-in 2: Time tbd by the assembled group
Chapel service: Thursday, Nov. 29

The Admissions Office will be welcoming more than 30 guests to campus for Discernment Weekend on November 11th and 12th. Included in this schedule is a chapel service that hones in on discernment and understanding God’s call on Monday, November 12th at 11 a.m. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to join us for worship that morning.

We will be having a Pubs and Profs gathering Friday November 30th at Headflyer Brewing from 6 to 8pm. The prof will be Dr. Skinner and the topic will be politics and the New Testament. Appetizers will be provided, conversation is complimentary, and alcohol is on you (if you want it).
