Lifestyle Communities Open House – April 15
In February, Luther Seminary announced that it had signed a purchase agreement with local developer Lifestyle Communities for their purchase of the Lower Campus. Luther Seminary and Lifestyle are working together to officially close the sale in 2026. Lifestyle Communities will host an open house on our campus this evening, Tuesday, April 15, in order to meet with neighbors and gather their feedback on their future plans. Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend. The open house will be held Tuesday, April 15, 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the OCC narthex. Please contact Heidi Droegemueller with any questions.
Brewery Night in the West Metro – April
Save the Date – Thursday, April 24, 7-9 p.m. for a Brewery Night in the West Metro hosted by the student council rep for commuter students. This spring we are trying to have gatherings once a month out in the suburbs to make it easier for those of us that live a little bit further out from campus. This month we’ll gather at Luce Line Brewery in Plymouth for an evening of fun, fellowship, and food (food is on us, you have to buy your own alcohol). Everyone—students, faculty, staff—is welcome, especially those who love craft beer and/or live in the West Metro. Watch for future gatherings in other suburban communities. Questions? Contact Lauren (lmildahl001).
Seminary Network Infrastructure Maintenance
On Tuesday, April 15, the Office of Technology will be performing maintenance on Luther Seminary’s critical network infrastructure to improve security and network reliability. During the maintenance window, a short network disruption will occur, disconnecting the Luther Seminary campus from the internet, as well as any remote connections to campus network services. After this update is completed, you will be prompted to update the GlobalProtect VPN client when you next use it. Please click to allow the GlobalProtect application to update to version 6.3.2-525 for continued VPN access.
Maintenance Window. April 15, 6-10 p.m.
Estimated Downtime. 10-20 minutes
