Albs and stoles? Next semester’s textbooks? Bose headphones? These are all items that students found at the first annual stuff exchange during the RFS last January. Following the success of last year’s event, the Luther Seminary EcoFaith Team is hosting another stuff exchange this January 6-12 during the RFS.
Here’s how it works: Anyone may bring items from your home that you no longer use/need and take any items available for free—such as clothing, books, and household items. No furniture or underwear please. You do not need to bring any items in order to receive them. This event will take place in the corner above the stairs on the 2nd floor of OCC. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to participate.
We also welcome donations of bags for people to take things from the stuff exchange. Bags can be donated to Maria OIson, associate registrar, at Bockman Hall Room 113.
Volunteers are needed to make this happen! Sign up to help with set up, daily tidying up, and cleanup below. We are particularly in need of volunteers to help box up items and bring them to local charities and/or thrift stores after class on January 12.
