New Events Scheduling and Calendar Process (Check on Your Events)
As of this week, we have transitioned to using Coursedog for event scheduling, meeting room reservations, and the community calendar. You can find these options under “Luther Seminary Events” in the right sidebar of inside.luthersem.edu.
Pre-existing events that had a room reservation attached were migrated to the new system on the back end. However, if you had previously already put an event on the Luther Seminary Community Google calendar but did not also request a room (for example, if the event is Zoom-only), you will need to resubmit this event. If you aren’t sure or can’t find your event on the calendar, please resubmit it by selecting “Event Request” on inside.luthersem.edu.
Need help? Please review this guide to event scheduling or follow along with this video tutorial. Operations/IT staff will also be available to answer questions at a future All Hands meeting and an upcoming Lunch and Learn.
If you need additional assistance, please reach out to helpdesk@luthersem.edu.
Olson Campus Center West Entrances Closed
We regret to inform you that the upper and lower west entrances of the Olson Campus Center are closed due to identified structural safety concerns during the evaluation of the elevated sidewalk leading to the upper level. The safety of our community members is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding as we address this issue. In the meantime, please be advised that the upper and lower east entrances will remain open for access to OCC. Rest assured, adequate egress routes are still available to ensure the safety and convenience of all occupants. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated on the progress of the necessary assessments and repairs. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Please contact Matt Sheppard with any questions you may have.
