Join Dr. Cody Sanders for a lecture at University Baptist Church in Minneapolis (1219 University Ave. SE) on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 7:00 p.m. (or 6:00 p.m. for a light meal at the church before the lecture). The lecturer is Rev. Dr. Toya Richards, whose research addresses the questions: How has the impact of prolonged racism and white supremacy affected the psyches of black women living in South Minneapolis and their sense of being worthy and vital members of humanity? And what do they need to thrive and sustain themselves for the long haul? If you are unable to attend the lecture on October 15 in person, it will also be live streamed here. Dr. Sanders will meet whoever wishes to attend at the church just prior to the lecture beginning.
