Please join in welcoming Feleshia Edwards and Jay Cylkowski to Luther Seminary!

Feleshia joins us as the associate director of operations.  She will manage the welcome desk, housing, events, and environmental health and safety, as well as providing facilities and procurement support.  Feleshia brings over 25 years of operations experience working in the Community Action Partnership network providing leadership, supervision, oversight, and management of programs and services. Feleshia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Business Administration. A native of Minneapolis, she enjoys reading and volunteering for the Medical Reserve Corps of Ramsey County in her free time.

Jay joins us as facilities maintenance technician.  In addition to general facilities maintenance and repair, Jay will be key in developing and performing our HVAC preventative maintenance program.  He brings over 20 years of commercial facilities maintenance experience. Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, an Associates of Applied Science degree in Cabinet Making and a 1st Class C Boilers License. Jay lives in St. Paul’s Como Park neighborhood with his wife and children.

Join us for some ice cream on Sunday September 17, 2023 at 6:30–7:30 p.m. in the Garden of the Resurrection of Olson Campus Center (back of OCC). You will be greeted by the Reconciling In Christ (RIC) Committee and share their efforts to ensure our LGBTQIA+ students and allies voices and presence are heard and celebrated at Luther. We love to hear your questions or concerns around one or two scoops of ice cream. You are welcome! 

This event is organized by the RIC Committee and sponsored by Student Council. See you there!
