Live Stream Art Session with Steve Thomason
Greetings Luther Sem Community. Each Thursday I have been posting an invitation for you to join me Live on YouTube to take an art and Bible break. I think the link that I have provided has sent you to nothingness. If you have tried to join the live session, but it wasn’t there, I apologize. I think I figured out the problem.
So…if you would like to join me today to see how I am creating A Cartoonist’s Guide to Acts, then click here at 2:00 p.m. CT.
If, for some reason, that link doesn’t work, you can go to my YouTube Channel at youtube.com/stevethomason and the live stream will be there. It is also streamed live to Facebook, so you can join there as well.
You will be able to chat with me during the session and ask questions. Whether you enjoy art, or want to talk about the text from Acts, you might find this an enjoyable mid-afternoon break.
The art will be used for the upcoming Faith+Lead Academy course on Acts that will be released next year. Be part of the process!

Jump Start Your Financial Wellness!
Do you have questions, concerns, wonderments, or even worries about your personal financial situation? We got you! Grace Pomroy, Director of the Stewardship Leaders Program is a Certified Financial Education Instructor. She listens and provides support in a shame-free, judgement-free zone. Hundreds of students have talked with Grace and received valuable support.
Students are invited to have one or more financial wellness conversations via phone or Zoom with Grace. You determine the topics that will be covered based on your specific situation, then together with Grace, you’ll figure out what the next steps should be.
Here are quotes from students about their conversations with Grace.
“Our conversation has remained with me each day. It’s helping me to see patterns that I had never noticed before, which is very powerful.”
“Our conversation was one of the highlights of my week and was exactly what I needed today.”
“Your words of kindness and affirmation yesterday left me feeling confident and empowered.”
“Thanks so much for our session last week. I’m looking forward to working on some of the things we talked about and checking out those resources!”
