As a member of the Institutional Research team, her primary focus is on human subject research and survey development and support. You can find Trina in Gullixson 107. Roy Harrisville (‘47), Professor Emeritus of New Testament, died on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Lyngblomsten Care Center. He was 101. Roy taught New Testament at Luther Seminary from 1958-1992. He was instrumental in combining historical-critical research with a confessional-theological approach. Many of his students have recalled the Friday afternoon teas that he and his wife Norma would regularly host for students. He is mourned by four children, many grandchildren, and many former students. “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Bring a lawn chair/blanket and a snack to share! We’re watching Encanto in Linden Hills Park sponsored by Minneapolis Parks and Rec! Let’s gather on August 7 at 8 p.m. and the movie starts at 8:30 p.m.
Community Life will supply some snacks and soda water. We’re excited to gather in the beautiful community Luther is surrounded by.
Do you have any visual art in your church that you’d like to share? Or any art that’s been spiritually meaningful for you? Email photos and a brief description to firstname.lastname@example.org for a chance to be featured in an upcoming issue of Story magazine.
