Join Community Life and the EcoFaith Network for a fun event – we’ll create “wildflower bursts,” spheres of soil, and native prairie seeds!
The process will be fun and quick – we’ll simply roll soil and seeds together. A sink will be accessible nearby to clean up, and make sure to stop by the next day to grab your dried Wildflower Burst to toss somewhere outdoors!
Heidi Ferris of Growing Green Hearts (a local eco-justice group; http://growinggreenhearts.com/) will provide a short info session about the importance of bio-diversity and what YOU can do in your own communities!
Today, less than 1% of the original prairie of Mni Sota (Minnesota) still exists. Planting these seeds help promote love and resilience for creation—the environment and us as one.
