We are happy to announce our 15th annual Days of Defense, which will be held viz Zoom on Monday, May 1, and Tuesday, May 2, 2023 starting at 8:30 AM and ending at 3:30 PM Central Time each day. These are the days when students in the MA Professional Degree programs – Leadership and Innovation for Ministry – Christian Ministry – Children, Youth, and Family – present their final capstone projects centered on a current issue in their concentration area.

We would like to invite you to join us for in-person or on-line yoga sessions with instructor Ashley Wheeler and Elizabeth Schoenknecht.

Every Tuesday session (in-person) will take place in the OCC building from 11:45-12:15. This is a great opportunity to take a break from your studies and focus on your physical and mental well-being.

Please note that we also offer online yoga sessions every Monday from 12:00-12:30 and every Friday from 11:30-12:00.

Students, please note that if you need to request a grade of Incomplete for a spring course, you must make the request to your professor prior to the last day of the course. The deadline for Faculty to submit final grades for Incompletes is June 16. Contact the Office of the Registrar with questions.

Attention students (who are not graduating)! Are you interested in contributing to the Seminary’s ABIDE work (Accountability, Belonging, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity)? The Student Council is seeking at least 3 students who are interested in joining new teams that are being formed to begin meeting in September.

We will hold a few informational meetings about this work to answer any questions students might have. The first meeting is on Tuesday, May 2nd from 4:30 -5:00 p.m. Central Time on Zoom (see Community Announcements email for link). Meet with Dr. Zalanga to learn about the new teams and how students can be a part of this important work.

There will be at least one more meeting after the term ends.

Elections will be held this week, beginning Wednesday, May 3 at noon and will run through Friday, May 5 at noon Central. A link will be sent when elections are open.
