Do-It-Yourself Nativity and Library Holiday Open House
Please join us in the Luther Library for a holiday open house, Wednesday, December 14 from 10 a.m. to noon; there will be snacks and holiday cheer for all and sundry. As a special treat, The Luther Seminary Players will present a light-hearted retelling of the Christmas story; think of it as an homage to those church Christmas pageants of old with shepherds wearing bathrobes and angels with halos askew. This is an audience participation event so we encourage as many as are able to attend – remember, the more the merrier – the program will start around 10:45 a.m.
Virtual Gingerbread Competition December 20
It’s time to ‘snow’ off your Christmas Spirit and architecture skills. On December 20, post your pictures of you, your friends and your family with a gingerbread house you all built on our Community Life Facebook page. Then one foggy December Eve, our Admissions team will be our Cheerful Judges and will pick their favorite three, just in time for Christmas. The first place winner will get a $30 gift card to the national store of their choice, second will get $20 and third will get $10. We all are dreaming of a very sweet Christmas.
