OCC Dining Room and on Zoom
The Office of Student Affairs together with the members of the RIC Committee and Luther International Students have been planning a facilitated dialogue and conversation to discuss issues that are significant to our community. This first meeting will focus on the following theme, “What Does it Mean to Belong at Luther Seminary?”
We are partnering with the Respectful Conversations Ministry of the Minnesota Council of Churches and have contracted with Lead Facilitator Joan Haan for this event. Respectful Conversations is based on Christian principles and is aimed at creating a path to strengthening community among people with differing views.
This Respectful Conversation is designed to build empathy, soften hearts, and deepen understanding.
We see the success of this Respectful Conversation depending on the attendance and support of our entire community of faculty, staff and students.
While we would love everyone to have the full experience of the dialogue by being together in the same room, we are also providing a hybrid option for those who need it.
Zoom link will be provided in the community announcements email.
Please remain in prayer for this event and we hope to see you there.
