All Saints celebrates the baptized people of God, living and dead, who are the body of Christ. As November heralds the dying of the landscape in many northern regions, the readings and liturgy call us to remember all who have died in Christ and whose baptism is complete.

We will gather as a community to observe All Saints on:

• Tuesday, November 1 at 11 a.m. outdoors in the Garden of the Resurrection
• Wednesday, November 2 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of the Incarnation

Please fill out this form to include the names of people who have died in the past year that we can offer in our Wednesday liturgy.

Following Chapel on October 28, Dillon Swanson will give a brief organ recital as an extended postlude to the preceding chapel service. The program is scheduled to include works by J. S. Bach, Reger, Howells, Dupré, and more.

Join us in the lounge in Bockman Hall on Thursday, November 3 at 3 p.m. for a Mindful Sketching Session. No drawing skills are required. Dr. Thomason will guide the group in an exercise that uses simple sketching techniques to become fully present in the moment. This is an excellent form of contemplation and relaxation.

Bring a sketchbook (any form of paper works) and a writing utensil (pen, pencil, paints, whatever you use to make marks).

Enjoy food and fellowship at this year’s Global Agape Feast! This is a time of celebration with our global community on campus; a few of our international students will be gracing us with a song and food from their context.

The feast is a potluck-style, global celebration of thanksgiving. Please bring a dish from your tradition to share or something to contribute and join the Luther community in this global festival!

Three finalists have been invited on campus and will do a public presentation on October 26, 27, and November 1. The candidates have requested that we hold their names in confidence until the day of the interview. All presentations are scheduled for 12:30–1:30 p.m. in OCC 10.
