Join Our First Mindful Sketching Session
Join us in the lounge in Bockman Hall on Thursday, November 3 at 3 p.m. for a Mindful Sketching Session. No drawing skills are required. Dr. Thomason will guide the group in an exercise that uses simple sketching techniques to become fully present in the moment. This is an excellent form of contemplation and relaxation.
Bring a sketchbook (any form of paper works) and a writing utensil (pen, pencil, paints, whatever you use to make marks).
You can join the Google Space to keep in touch with other Mindful Sketchers.
Pie Order and Pickup
Fruit & Grain Bakery, whose pastry and meals are produced right here at Luther Seminary, is offering a Thanksgiving pie menu, with pickup taking place on Wednesday, November 23 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Wild Flyer Coffeeshop in south Minneapolis.
Details and ordering for the event can be found on their website.
Feel free to reach out to fruit and grain bakery owner Emily at fruitandgrainbakery@gmail.com
