Lunch Church in the Dining Hall! Please join us for food and conversation as we are led by Nathan Lyke.
The criminal justice system in the US is more and more organized around punitive notions of justice. Violence is often met with violence. Yet in the Twin Cities we have lots of experience with restorative practices that draw on principles of nonviolence. Join us on September 30 at 11:30 a.m. for a panel discussion with Brenda Burnside, Randi Roth, and Mary Hess where we will introduce the concept of restorative justice. Sponsored by INVITE at Luther Seminary (Integrating Nonviolence into Theological Education) and Interfaith Action. RSVP for the zoom link.
An encouraging reminder to visit our vending machines in the 2nd floor café area of OCC. This Canteen Market features beverages, snacks, and fresh food options! To learn how to set up an account for easy access, check out this link, or find instructions on the side of the machine. If our campus sales of the fresh food don’t increase in the next few weeks, we run the risk of losing these options entirely. So, make your way there and check out the fresh food offerings today!
On the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, we welcome your pets, pictures and/or memories there of to be blessed at our Chapel Service. Chapel is at 11am in the Olson Campus Center.
