Completion of the Boundary Workshop is a requirement for every student in every degree program. You are encouraged to complete this requirement as soon as possible – preferably within your first semester.

The Healthy Boundaries Workshop is divided into two parts. Part I is a 2 hour synchronous training and Part II is an asynchronous 2 hour training completed in a Moodle course. Completion of BOTH Part I and Part II are required in order to fulfill the Boundary Workshop requirement.

Join Mary Hess, faculty member and point person for the Justice and Reconciliation degree/concentration in Zoom this evening, September 19th at 6 pm central time. This is a chance to meet other people who are interested the J&R programming at Luther, and to ask any questions you might have. Link will be sent in the community announcements email.

Contextual Learning staff are inviting interested students to an information session about CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education). Please make sure you sign up for your Internship Cluster Retreat this fall! This is the first time we’ll gather in person since Fall 2019, and we have a new retreat facilitator, Emily Rova-Hegener. It’s a great opportunity for you and your supervisor to step away from your daily setting and come together with others to connect, worship, rest, learn, and reflect. If you are currently an intern in Region 1 or Region 3, Luther Seminary’s Contextual Learning Office has already sent you an invitation to register via your Luther Sem email. The deadline to reserve your spot is October 1.

If you’re interning outside of Regions 1 and 3, another ELCA seminary is hosting your retreat and will invite you to attend via your Luther Sem email. We look forward to gathering with you soon, and if you have any questions, please email us at contextuallearning@luthersem.edu.

As the fall semester draws ever nearer, so do our first chapel services of the year! We are looking for volunteers interested in ushering, assisting with communion, running tech, and singing/playing an instrument during worship.
