Come celebrate the beginning of another year of learning, growth, and fellowship at our Back-to-School Block Party on Friday September 16th, 4–6 p.m., right before the first RFS session! We will be located by OCC. Food will be free and catered by Nelson’s Deli. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, and vegan options are available. This will be a great opportunity to connect with new and old friends. Let’s start this school year well with friends, games, and free food!

Join us for another event to welcome faculty and staff back for the beginning of the school year!

On Monday, September 12 from 10:30–11:30 a.m. (Central) Alison Roberts and Grace Pomroy from the Employee Engagement Team will be hosting an online gathering with Luther Seminary Faculty and Staff. Join President Robin Steinke and your colleagues in a small-group setting via Zoom for a chance to hear what everyone is excited about for this upcoming year and play a few games! Everyone is welcome whether you’ll be working remotely that day or not.

Please join me in welcoming Kate Norlander, marketing production and project manager, who officially joined the Seminary on Tuesday, September 6. As a member of the shared services agreement between Luther Seminary and Augsburg University, Kate will support both schools with her primary duties being here at Luther. Kate has worked as an independent contractor for Luther Seminary since 2020, creating both internal and external communication on our behalf, so she already has a leg up and knows our community well! Previously, she held communications positions with United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities and the University of St. Thomas.
