We would like to invite those of you who joined us in our third annual Summer Book Club (and those who are curious about it) to join us for our end of the summer celebration. This will be a chance to reflect on the amazing work of Keri Day (“Notes of a Native Daughter”) and look forward to how it can inform our work moving forward. The event will be at 3:45 p.m. Central Monday, September 12. The Zoom link will be included in the community announcements email. For more info, feel free to contact David Scherer (dscherer002@luthersem.edu) or Lauren Mildahl (lmildahl001@luthersem.edu).

Students Currently on Internship: Please Sign Up for Fall Internship Cluster Retreats
Please make sure you sign up for your Internship Cluster Retreat this fall! This is the first time we’ll gather in person since Fall 2019, and we have a new retreat facilitator, Emily Rova-Hegener. It’s a great opportunity for you and your supervisor to step away from your daily setting and come together with others to connect, worship, rest, learn, and reflect. If you are currently an intern in Region 1 or Region 3, Luther Seminary’s Contextual Learning Office has already sent you an invitation to register via your Luther Sem email. The deadline to reserve your spot is October 1.
If you’re interning outside of Regions 1 and 3, another ELCA seminary is hosting your retreat and will invite you to attend via your Luther Sem email. We look forward to gathering with you soon, and if you have any questions, please email us at contextuallearning@luthersem.edu.
