Xcel Energy reports that a power outage will affect the entire Luther upper campus today. The outage is scheduled to last from approximately 8:30 a.m. until late morning, but could extend into the afternoon. Buildings affected by this outage include Bockman Hall, Gullixson Hall, Olson Campus Center, and the Branston Street houses. Please note that these buildings will remain locked all day today, although anyone with key card access will still be able to enter. Normal building hours will resume on Thursday.
At this time we do not anticipate that the outage will affect remote access to Luther computer network services, although on-campus wired and wifi access will be affected. IT will monitor the situation and take action if necessary.
Thank you for your patience and flexibility with this temporary disruption.
