Transition in Grace Pomroy’s Role

Posted on June 17, 2022

In the fall, Grace Pomroy and her husband plan to move to Washington state. In order to accommodate this transition in location, Grace’s role will shift from a “faculty and staff dual role” to a “staff with teaching responsibilities” role beginning July 1, 2022. While Grace will continue teaching both Funding Forward and Money & the Mission of the Church, she will no longer be an official member of the faculty. She will continue to be the director of the Stewardship Leaders Program, lead Luther’s financial wellness program, conduct research on more sustainable economic models for ministry, and help faith leaders and everyday disciples view their lives with money through a lens of faith. Grace will be working remotely and return to campus regularly. She looks forward to maintaining the rich relationships she has created with Luther’s staff, faculty, and students. If you have questions about Grace’s transition, please contact Dwight Zscheile dzscheile001@luthersem.edu or Rolf Jacobson rjacobso@luthersem.edu.
