The Ecclesia Gathering will draw 30-60 street ministers from around the country to share a breadth of approaches and philosophies, the struggles and joys of street ministry. Included in the stay will be an experiential immersion in the street ministry milieu of San Francisco’s Tenderloin District. This year’s conference in SF will take place May 6-7, with optional activities in the days immediately before and after. Organized by a Luther Seminary student, three registration scholarships are available for Luther students. If you already work with unhoused people and/or the street community, or if you want to explore the vocational possibility and make collegial connections, this opportunity awaits you. Additional funds to offset travel costs may be available. If interested, please email John Brett, jbrett001@luthersem.edu. Initial conference info and registration available on the Ecclesia Ministries conference page (more information including further special guests and workshop details forthcoming).
