A New Article From The Concord on Reconciling in Christ
On January 31, at a special meeting, the Luther Seminary Student Council voted unanimously to approve a proposal that calls for Luther to begin the process to become a Reconciling in Christ organization. Becoming Reconciling in Christ would mean that Luther openly and intentionally welcomes, affirms, and offers protection for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC students.
In this week’s article, Lauren Mildahl reports on the present push at Luther to become Reconciling in Christ (RiC), why the student council believes we should become an RiC seminary, and what you can do to get involved! Everyone student, faculty, and staff member at Luther needs to read this article, and then stay tuned for Part Two next week!
