No Chapel January 13 or 14
We will not be gathering for chapel in person or online on Thursday or Friday. We will return online next week. If you need to connect to a community tomorrow, please join us for a coffee break at 11 a.m. on Zoom. The Zoom link will be in the community announcements email.
We are rescheduling Friday’s chapel service, which was to be a celebration of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Date will be communicated at a later date.
For those who need a screen break and prayer break, we have just released a new episode of The Liturgy of the Hours podcast.
Reach out with prayer requests over at sempastor@luthersem.edu.

Instruction Has Moved Online This Week
Due to recently reported positive COVID-19 tests, Luther Seminary has decided to move instruction online for the remainder of the week. Employees who can work from home are encouraged to do so, at least through the end of this week. Please remember that the seminary is closed in honor of Martin Luther King Day on Monday, January 17.
So far the positive COVID-19 cases are confined to one class, which was held in OCC, and one on-campus residence. If we believe that you have been in close contact with one of the individuals who tested positive, you will be contacted.
If you have recently tested positive for COVID-19, or if you are an unvaccinated individual who has been in close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 (close contact is defined as being within 6 feet of that person for 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period), please report that to the appropriate person. For employees, that person is Michael Morrow (mmorrow001@luthersem.edu). Students should contact David Fenrick; email deanofstudents@luthersem.edu, or text 651-300-3537.
