As the work of Faith+Lead continues to expand, we are pleased to announce a shift of role and a new hire. Effective January 1, Dawn Alitz will become director of coaching and events. In this role, she will focus on overseeing the Faith+Lead Coaching initiative as well as continuing to serve as managing director of the Festival of Homiletics and other lifelong learning events. Faith+Lead Coaching is a vital way in which Luther Seminary accompanies, supports, and equips ministry leaders to address the challenges facing their communities in today’s world. Dawn brings a wealth of expertise and passion for coaching to this new role.
Alicia Granholm will join the team as director of communities and consulting. She brings many years of congregational leadership and consulting experience in a variety of church contexts. Alicia has served on Luther’s Thriving in Ministry grant team and as a member of the Seeds Project leadership team, as well as a trainer in our Faithful Innovation Learning Communities work. Please join me in warmly welcoming her to Luther Seminary when she starts in January.
