Peer Support Ministry is a facilitated virtual place where together we can cultivate a safe space to talk about our awareness and understanding of mental health. This space supports ministry leaders who are working or will be working on the frontlines of mental healthcare as public leaders. Join one or all sessions; there is no cost for participation due to the grant described below. A Zoom link will be shared before each session you register for.
Questions about training or support group? Contact JJ (jdollarhide001@luthersem.edu)
Thanks to a generous grant from the Stewardship Leader Program – InFaith Community Foundation Grant and the spring 2021 Funding Forward Class we are recognizing National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month (September) with opportunities to learn how to Question, Persuade, and Refer individuals who might be struggling with mental health challenges like thoughts of suicide and develop a peer ministry support community at Luther Seminary.
