The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) have reinstituted recommendations that all persons wear masks indoors to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 Delta variant, when in areas of substantial or high transmission. This includes Ramsey and Hennepin counties.
Luther Seminary’s Covid-19 protocols have required masks since the beginning of the pandemic, and this requirement remains in effect. Given the latest surge related to the Delta variant, it is important for us all to adhere to this standard whenever we are on campus, regardless of our vaccination status. Masks can protect you from the Delta variant and they protect others, especially those who have not been vaccinated, such as children under 12.
Our mask policy remains limited to indoor areas; masks are not required outdoors. Also, individuals may remove masks when in private offices.

Thank you for complying with our mask requirements. Community-oriented is one of the Seminary’s core values. Helping one another stay healthy is one of the key things we can do to support community.
