Virtual Bible Study Group Meets This Friday, May 7, at 9 a.m. Central
Hello, friends!
Grab a snack or a cup of coffee and bring your Bible and, of course, your wonderful self!
We will gather on Fridays, 9-9:45 a.m. Central, via Zoom for a time of check-in, prayer, and Bible conversation so we can continue to share, encourage, and grow with one another. This group is open to anyone in our Luther community including staff, faculty, students, and friends of Luther Seminary.
Information on how to join the meeting via Zoom will be included in the community announcements email.
If you have any questions you can email Joanna (jkathol001@luthersem.edu) or Esther (esianipar001@luthersem.edu).
May Pubs and Profs
7 p.m. Central Wednesday, May 12
Writing as a Spiritual Practice with Dr. Carla Dahl
Sign up to join Professor Dahl for a conversation about how we can utilize writing as a spiritual practice–not just as an academic requirement!
If you aren’t familiar with Pubs and Profs, this is simply a time for you to gather with your peers and have a lively conversation with some of your favorite professors outside of class! We know that you all are surely missing those more casual yet enriching conversations you would have with professors after class, chapel, or over a meal in the dining hall. It will be a while before we can gather in a “pub,” again, but we’ve still got top notch “profs” who are excited to talk with you outside of the (virtual) classroom environment.
To keep this conversation accessible and not too overwhelming, we are limiting participation to 15 students and asking individuals to sign up in advance using this Google Sheet.
Remember: you need to be signed in to your luthersem email to sign up!
