Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

Posted on March 2, 2021

Congress recently passed legislation that temporarily changes SNAP eligibility requirements for college students. College/seminary students enrolled at least half time and who meet income and eligibility requirements can now qualify for SNAP.

To determine eligibility, visit the USDA SNAP eligibility page.

To learn how to apply in your state, visit the SNAP State Directory of Resources.

Minnesota SNAP information and an application link are available on the Minnesota Department of Human Service’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistant Program (SNAP) page.
