Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and Church of All Nations invite members of the Luther Seminary community to join the EcoFaith Network of the Minneapolis Area Synod and others for a series of three workshops called “Jubilee Pathways: Healing Our Relation to Land.” We encourage you to come to all three workshops as they build on each other, though you are welcome to participate even if you can only make one or two classes.
We hope that workshop participants will walk away with:
- Grounding in fresh interpretations of biblical texts that root us in our call to seek restorative, regenerative ways of living on the land
- Renewed imagination and practical insights for growing food and medicinal plants, using permaculture principles, as a way of healing and repair for Earth, self, and community
- A clear analysis of how colonization and capitalism have broken our relationship with land
- Connections with other people of faith who dream of building a just, livable future through healing our relationship to land
To learn more, please visit the workshop’s web page or contact Martha Bardwell, Associate Pastor at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Minneapolis (martha@oursavioursmpls.org).
