A Grief Observed, Friday, November 13
You are invited to share the name or names of saints you are remembering this year. Additionally, you are welcome to share the griefs you carry. You may include the names on this All Saints form. We will read what is offered in public, online worship at 11 a.m. Central Friday, November 13.
December Pubs and Profs
Mark your calendars, because next month Pubs and Profs is back, and this time it’s virtual (obviously)!
We know that with all classes (including intensives) being online, some of you may be missing those more casual yet enriching conversations you would have with professors after class or chapel or over a meal in the dining hall. To help with that, we are bringing back a staple of our community programming! We may not be able to gather in a pub, but we’ve still got top notch profs who are excited to talk with you outside of the (virtual) classroom environment.
Join professors Malcolm and Schifferdecker at 7:00 p.m. Central on December 10 for a discussion on prophecy and wisdom (in times like these).
To keep this conversation accessible and not too overwhelming, we are limiting participation and asking individuals to sign up in advance using this Google sheet. Remember: you need to be signed into your luthersem email to sign up.
Stewardship Leaders Program – charity choices
Luther students! We need five minutes (maybe less) of your time. There are just two more days for you to choose the charitable organizations that will receive monetary gifts from the Stewardship Leaders Program. Please choose one charity in each of the eight categories on this Google form. The deadline for your responses is this Friday, November 13. Thank you! We will let you know next week who the winners are.
In gratitude – Arlene Flancher, Innovation Team program coordinator
