Over the past year, the work of the Center for Lifelong Learning has transitioned with the launch of our Faith+Lead digital platform and initiatives (faithlead.luthersem.edu). Faith+Lead is now Luther Seminary’s hub for continuing education and digital resources. It connects and equips leaders to address today’s ministry challenges through events, conferences, online and in-person courses, learning communities, coaching, digital resources, the Faith+Leader blog, webinars, the Learning Lab private social network, and consulting. From now on, Luther’s lifelong learning operations will be known simply as Faith+Lead.
As part of this transition, Dawn Alitz’s title is changing to director of communities and coaching. She is working closely alongside Katie Langston, our director of digital strategy, to provide leadership, oversight, and support to the Faith+Lead team while focusing on growing our learning communities and coaching opportunities for churches and ministry leaders. Alitz is working closely with our Leadership for Faithful Innovation Lilly Grant and Faithful Innovation Learning Communities initiatives. She is overseeing the development of nondegree digital courses and modules in collaboration with faculty and other partners. She will continue to provide management support to the Festival of Homiletics.
