Kate Norlander started work Thursday on the integrated marketing and communications shared services team, working on a part-time basis. She will be taking on duties including managing the Luther Seminary newsletter (formerly E-Lert); internal communications; magazine writing and editing, and assisting the communications team, as needed, with announcements and other tasks.
She previously was the Director for Marketing and Community Relations at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. Before that, Kate worked at the University of St. Thomas in various roles, including copywriter, communication services, and editor. She also is a freelance writer. Kate holds a master’s degree in business communication from St. Thomas as well as a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Macalester College.
