A PREPARE AND ENRICH CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP will be offered at Luther Seminary on Sunday, January 5th | 2:00-8:00 PM. The training workshop will meet in the Olson Campus Center Lecture Hall Lower Level (OCC 10).

The PREPARE/ENRICH Certification Workshop is designed to help Public Christian Leaders learn to administer PREPARE/ENRICH for premarital and married couples. PREPARE/ENRICH is a customized online assessment tool that identifies each couple’s unique strengths and growth areas. The workshop results in your certification as a Trained Facilitator for PREPARE/ENRICH using the customized computer tools to provide feedback sessions and help premarital and married couples discuss and understand their results while you teach them proven relationship skills. COST: Luther Seminary students: $50. Non-Luther Seminary students: $195. Payment will be collected at the start of each training event. We can only accept cash or checks (sorry no credit or debit cards), and checks are made payable to “Luther Seminary” with the memo line stating “Prepare & Enrich.” WORKSHOP LEADER: Pastor Nancy Lee Gauche is a Seminar Director for PREPARE/ENRICH and has a deep commitment to healthy relationships. She also serves on the Children, Youth, & Family Team at Luther Seminary.

Seminary Relations will experience two important staffing transitions this week.

On Wednesday, we will welcome the newest member of our team. Alison Roberts has been hired at a Philanthropic Adviser. Alison comes to us with 13 years of major gifts experience. She has worked in the arts, healthcare and in fundraising consulting as well. Alison is a member of the United Methodist Church and a graduate of St. Olaf College. Please join the Seminary Relations team in welcoming Alison. I want to extend a special thanks to the interview team that played an instrumental role in our latest PA search: Paul Hanson, Jake Hennes, Barb Hutson, Joy Moore, and Jody Nyenhuis.

On Friday, we will bid our colleague John Puotinen a happy retirement! John has been a Philanthropic Advisor for the past 4 years. During his time at Luther, he has advanced several key relationships and closed several significant gifts for the sake of our mission. Please join me in wishing John well in his next chapter.
