About the author
Lenny Duncan is the unlikeliest of pastors. Formerly incarcerated,
a high-school dropout, and a drug dealer, he is now a writer,
activist, and black preacher in the whitest denomination in the
United States, the ELCA. He serves as pastor of Jehu’s Table in
Brooklyn, New York.
Reading from his new book, “Dear Church: A Love Letter from a Black Preacher to the Whitest Denomination in the U.S.”
