This Sunday starts a five-week summer series at Park Ave. United Methodist Church, called “Journey to Freedom: Embracing God’s Cultural Mosaic of People”.
It’s full of preachers (includingLuther siblings in Christ Bethany Ringdal and Kelly Sherman-Conroy, and Jesus E. Purisaca Ruiz) as well as trainings, book clubs, and Bible studies – all focused on learning how to center marginalized voices, navigate (and call out) microaggressions, and celebrate the diversity that God created.
