Maintenance/Construction Update: Week of February 25

Safety concerns should be sent to maintenance@luthersem.edu. When your concern is not immediately dangerous, the concern will be addressed at the next Safety Committee meeting.

Olson Campus Center –

  • Contractor tours
  • Preparing to move to temporary offices
  • Cleaning out storage areas/empty areas
  • Work requests as time allows

Gullixson Hall –

  • Contractor tours
  • Cleaning out storage areas/empty areas
  • Addressing recycling issues
  • Addressing storage issues
  • Work Requests as time allows

Bockman Hall –

  • Maintaining for current guests
  • Preparing to move to temporary offices
  • Cleaning out storage areas/empty areas
  • Work Requests as time allows

Northwestern Hall –

  • Cleaning out Mechanical rooms
  • Cleaning out storage areas
  • Repairs as requested

Stub Hall –

  • Heating repairs
  • Cleaning-out storage areas
  • Individual room maintenance
  • Work Requests as time allows

LDR –

  • Work Requests as time allows

Rental Home –

  • Work Requests as time allows

General Grounds –

  • Snow/ice removal
  • Zvago project continues at Luther Place entrance – no parking will be available in the Luther Place lot
  • First resident moves into building February 25

Conference Funds Available for Students

Would you like to attend a conference but don’t have all the funds to do it? We’ve got funding to help!

Limited funding is available thanks to the InFaith Community Foundation endowment laboratory which students participated in as part of Dr. Adam Copeland’s Fall 2018 Money & Mission of the Church course.

Awards will be divided between the students who request funds, with a $500 annual (academic year July 1-June 30) maximum per student. Residential & DL students are eligible to request funds.

Please submit requests a minimum of two weeks prior to the event.

If awarded, you will be asked to provide a summary of your experience and any itemized receipts, as applicable.
