The Contextual Learning team is excited to introduce our two new team members, Ashley and Catrina! Please stop by and say hello if you’re in Northwestern Hall.
Ashley Wheeler, Candidacy Coordinator
Ashley holds an M.Div from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. For the past three years she has served as the Operations & Office Manager for a national non-profit, Native Americans in Philanthropy. She is a chaplain at heart and served as a Chaplain Resident at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Ashley has a background in pastoral care, youth ministry, and storytelling. She is passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces where everyone can feel heard and find their passions and calling in the ministry and in the world. She resides in South Minneapolis with her husband, Aaron, and their fur babies.
Rev. Catrina Ciccone, Program Coordinator for MDivX
Rev. Catrina Ciccone has served the church in a multiplicity of contexts: Lutheran Volunteer Corps, Washington DC; urban congregations in St. Paul and Minneapolis; and in a rural congregation near Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Recently, Catrina was project assistant for the Learning Pastoral Imagination Project, and has recently been pursuing a PhD in Congregational Mission and Leadership at Luther. Catrina is excited to integrate all these different streams of experience in her new role with the contextual learning department.
