What’s better than a good idea? A good idea with the funding to be implemented!
The Luther Seminary endowment lab invites you to come up with a project that will improve the Luther community and submit it to be funded!
The only stipulation is that it engage this mission statement:
Inspired by the teachings of Christ, the Luther Seminary Endowment Lab supports leadership, innovation, and empowerment through strategies that encourage new communities and transform existing communities as they seek to bring hope, stability and long-term impact to all of their members.
Here’s just a sampling of projects that have been proposed in the past:
- Spirit Lab, a spiritual formation program headquartered in the office of the campus pastor (and now in its second year!).
- Purchasing a telepresence robot called Ohmni for the Luther Seminary library
- An interfaith summit on Luther Seminary campus featuring the NO JOKE documentary, book, and speaking team.
- Community GoPro cameras that could be rented by students from the Office of Technology.
- Anti-racism workshops/learning opportunities to increase the representation of students, faculty, and staff from historically underrepresented and socially distinctive backgrounds.
Have a good idea or something you’re dreaming up? The entire community is invited to apply, including faculty, students, and staff. But hurry! The application deadline is November 30.
