There are some improvements coming to the cash registers in the cafeteria. At the end of January we’ll be replacing the registers with a modern system that supports mobile pay and keeps us current with credit card security standards.

This change also means the retirement of Luther Bucks. Effective immediately we will no longer allow people to purchase new Luther Bucks on ID cards. We recommend spending down your Luther Bucks balance by January 31, 2019. Refunds will be issued for unused balances. We’ll follow up directly with anyone who has a balance with more details.

On Tuesday, December 4, 7:00-8:00 pm in Bockman Hall room 116 join us for a lecture by Dr. Thurber. Dr. Thurber is a psychologist practicing in Willmar, MN, specializing in pediatric psychology. His published research has been in the area of autism, developmental psychopathology, and measurement.

This open lecture is part of the pastoral care class: “Ministry with Persons with Mental Illness and Their Families.” All interested persons welcome.

Spirit Lab sponsors Walking with the Spirit Friday November 30th at 2:00. Meet on the second floor of OCC for a short devotion then head into nature for a meditative walk encountering the Holy Spirit in whatever ways you are called.

You are all invited to today’s Worship Lab service in chapel led by students with the support from the office of the Campus Pastor. See you there at 11am!

Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 13th, 5-7pm. It’s time for an Ugly Sweater Christmas Party! Join us at Station 280 wearing your favorite Ugly Christmas Sweater. Appetizers will be provided by Student Council, and merry times shall be had by all.

Community Life is organizing a Luther Holiday Baking Day on December 8th from 10 am – 2 pm in the first floor Stub Lounge. We welcome any and all students, faculty, and staff who are interested in baking holiday treats together in community. This will be a fun event to share your family’s traditional holiday treats or to try a new, exciting recipe.

If interested, please sign-up at the link below with your name and the treat(s) you’re looking to create so we can get enough supplies.

Please note that Community Life will supply basic baking ingredients; however, if you need a large amount of any of these ingredients or supplies not on this list, please bring your own. The items we will provide are as follows:
