Halloween is coming, so let’s celebrate with a Spook-tacular Saturday! Join us on Saturday, October 27th from 5-7 pm for pumpkin carving, hot cocoa & cider, a costume contest, and more!
ATTENTION BAKERS ON CAMPUS! We would love it if you would bring your favorite fall-themed treat to share with the community! It’s time to break out those recipes for pumpkin muffins, apple pie, and whatever else your creative, baker’s heart desires! Email communitylife@luthersem.edu if you would like to bake and we can set you up with a gift card to Cub Foods or Aldi!

A reminder that this fall, the IT department would like to offer faculty and staff training sessions on software like Zoom, Moodle, Jenzabar, and Google Suite. Fill out this 2 minute survey to help IT pick times and topics that will be most useful for you!
The survey will close on 10/17. After the responses are collected, training sessions will be scheduled and calendar invites will be sent out!

The Center for Stewardship Leaders is hosting an online book group starting October 24. You can self-enroll here: https://moodle.luthersem.edu/course/view.php?id=783
We’ll be reading “The Index Card”, a concise look at personal finance. Each session will extend over two weeks. During the first week, you’ll read and pick a related activity or two to accomplish. During the second week, you’ll reflect on what you learned the previous week in a forum discussion. You’ll also launch the next round of reading and activities. The group will run through mid-December. Join us for as many sessions as you can! If you stick with us for the duration, you’ll earn a $50 Amazon gift card!
